Interesting, we just had a 5 minute fireworks show outside my residence at city hall here in toronto! What is there to celebrate on a saturday, nov 29 at 8:15 PM?

Thursday, November 27, 2003

After some encouragement from my friend here during our little group dinner at the "Chestnut Tree" restaurant at the lobby of my hotel..um i mean, college residence, I have finally decided to post on xanga!.. as well as fix up my chatterbox. I know it doesn't really matter if i post or not considering i haven't been posting since May anyways, but for those of u who like and love me, i will briefly explain my current situation ahahahha.

First, I would like to say that i am sitting in some hotel bought by U of T in downtown toronto. It's not too luxurious really though there's free housekeeping services once a week where the lady just vacuums your floor.. but it looks the same before and after the vacuuming process. She gives us two rolls of toilet paper too if we use all of it... of course my roomate and i can't really use two rolls of toilet paper a week so everytime she comes, we hide the rolls and now we've accumulated a lovely collection of 16 rolls of toilet paper in our closet. The food here is not great, though I love the chicken caeser salad.. and i've heard it's better than a lot of other unis.. like mcmaster haha. My roomate is cool, he's studying Egyptology.. we have nothing much to talk about since i'm studying the complete opposite of him, but he's cool anyways.

I'm currently taking computer science... but i have no courses on that cuz i got all the credits from A level computing, which is funny, cuz i'm taking all these asian history courses instead.. i'm becoming a historian instead of a comp freak!! I also have a math course.. where i'm failing badly haha, but who cares. Let see, there's also this visual studies course... it sucks, if it werne't a pre-requisite course for graphics and arts, then i wouldn't have taken it... like, we have to memorize 600 or so images of some really horrendously looking things.. and the final exam's next next week.

Hmm what else, I've met Dickson, Kathy, Eunice, and Philip here, as well as a few grade 12s from KGV.

Obviously from my tone you can tell that i'm bored here and i miss those days in KGV *sniff* ahhah, i'll live.

OMG and i have three exams in a row from december 1st to 3rd!!! ARRGGHGHHH!!!!

!!! Forgot to mention !!!

I can't believe I missed seeing the poor KGV student that got hung on the lightpost in the morning.

I only saw it when I was leaving school yesterday lol...

I don't think a lot of people know about this but when I left (about 2 PM) A COP ACTUALLY CAME AND STARED AT IT AND HE CALLED FOR PEOPLE TO HELP HIM TAKE IT DOWN LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad I already hopped onto a taxi and couldn't watch the rest of the show ehhe.

I wrote three blogs tonight, please read the oldest blog down there first then read this blog last, since this thing is in reverse order.

Relaxing day today. After having a nice whole year McD's breakfast thanks to Mr. Cocks, I went to computing a bit late, but it didn't matter cuz ppl were eating cake and stuff... inside a computer room !!!Then Dr. Checkland challenged us to Pacman... it's his favourite game!!!

Didn't do much during the free period, taking photos as usual. As for math lesson, I wanted to skive it but then it's not good to, so I went, along with the whole class... only finding out after waiting for 10 minutes the teacher was skiving herself! So I had another free and took more photos.

Then I went up to the music room with Boris and Michelle helping them practice the Jay Chow song for prom. Was fun, I was trying to play the drums along with Boris singing and Mich on the piano. Michelle told me I should go to my last physics lesson during period 4, so I did and found out only two ppl were there, so I went back up to the music room !

The last day ended quickly and I watched the water fight from long range and saw everyone gang up on Mr. Johnstone!!! hahahah was a funny sight. Then I went home and prepared for prom...

Hmmm, apart from having to run from the Tung Chung MTR line exit in central to the J exit (approx 1 kilometre) to get to the hotel, the night was great!

I really enjoyed this year's prom. Abhi and Mike made a good choice choosing 'Changes' by 2pac, I just love that song. I want their version of the lyrics too!

I felt so honoured keeping the beat for Michelle when she was playing the piano for Boris' song!

The food... the soup was tasty, but they didn't give me enough gravy for the chicken.

Dang, no slow songs this year :(

Well, I took a billion pictures, so it's all good!

It's like 4 am now and everyone's probably still drinking and partying! But I'm real tired now and I'm heading to sleep.

Thursday, May 15, probably one of the best days I've had at KGV.

First lesson computing, yeah we learned some fun stuff, Checkers showed us some of his nifty simulation programs.

Second period, photos photos more photos... (especially that one with Jackie standing behind the half naked woman on the TOUGH JEANS bag) if you've seen the picture, you'll know what I mean. If you haven't, force pittman to post it on his site or something.

Breaktime - more photos.

Ok, now introducing... THIRD PERIOD - MATH... of course only two people went, while the rest of us was about to enjoy a nice trip around the school.

I don't know how on earth Louis and Dennis came up with the idea of putting park n' shop plastic bags on their head and run around school robbing teachers of their possessions and freaking them out lol.

But anyways, here's most of the story if you haven't heard.

The gang went down to the PTA to collect plastic bags. Sadly they were all park n' shop bags. Louis and Dennis had no choice but to cut two holes in them and pull it over their heads.

Mission 1: Raid Mrs. Rowark's office

Louis and Dennis located long pipes that looked like bazookas in the microwave room next to Mrs. Rowark's office in the SSC. They decided to use those as weapons.

Rowark was on the phone. We had about 20 people sitting and standing outside of her room making it kind of obvious that something fishy is going to happen.

Anyways, how could she have expected that once she hung up, two guys with park n' shop bags over their heads would run in, point water pipes at her and run off with her water bottle or whatever it was (for further details ask Louis or Dennis).

GOff was next. Since his door wasn't completely closed, Dennis just kicked open the door, knocking a pile of papers over and Mr. Goff literally jumped up from his seat!!

Of course scaring Mrs. Rowark and Mr. Goff isn't enough to feed the hungry year 13s freaking out teachers on the second last day of school diet.

So the next target was the principal! Figuring that robbing the next victim was quite difficult, Louis and Dennis decided to grab the AK-47 and some baseball bats from the drama studio for increased damage. We then planted our base in room BS 1, where Dennis drew a well layed out blueprint of M. Cocks' office and the surroundings. After Chris Drew was found (the camera man), the operation commenced...

We snuck into M. Cocks' office and the two yelled, "FREEZE!!" Mr. Cocks put his hands up and they stole something from his desk and ran out with it. Actually in my opinion, the funnier sight was Mrs. Muscroft and the rest of the deputies peeking out from their office doors thinking what the heck was going on. Mr. Cocks quickly walked out of his office to calm the deputies down, who would've guessed he would play along too!

Next up was Miss Woolet and her class in BS 2, same thing happend, won't bother to describe.

Then someone suggested to raid the field too ! There were two PE lessons going on during that period, first Louis and Dennis stole the valuables box leaving the year 7, 8 or 9 class yelling for their valuables back. Then them two ran across the field and attacked Mr. Riding !! They tried to chain him up but failed as they were no match against RIDING! too buff.

The terrorists were winning 5-1 (lost to Riding), and were getting tired so the whole team fled back to the SSC, on the way, they thought of raiding Mr. Sherrington's class and forcing him to take his socks off, but they changed their minds as they found no use for his socks. So instead they planned the next attack on Mr. Duddy!

Ran up to the E rooms above the SSC and raided Duddy's class, freaking out the little year 7s and forced Mr. Duddy to take his shoes off. They had a long conversation and finally gave him his shoes back.

That was the last operation, since the whole group was exhausted from running around the school!

Exciting ! but tiring also, luckily we could leave early that day.
